Formula Explained

The calculation follows one simple relationship: fiber in a serving equals the serving weight in grams multiplied by the fiber content per 100 g, divided by 100.

Fiber (g) = Serving weight (g) × Fiber per 100 g ÷ 100

Before applying the formula, the tool converts your chosen unit into grams using these standard conversions: 1 ounce = 28.35 g; 1 cup of whole olives ≈ 140 g; 1 olive = the average weight you specify (default 4.5 g).
